Founder of Island City Home Care, a private-pay concierge nursing service serving Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale, and nearby Broward County, with more than 15 years of nursing experience.
After more than 15 years in nursing, I created Island City Home Care because I believe adults deserve personal, consistent support as they navigate health changes, aging, medical appointments, and the transition home after a hospital or rehabilitation stay.
I am especially passionate about providing affirming care for gay men while offering respectful, dignified nursing support to every client.
I personally provide scheduled RN home visits, medication and safety oversight, wellness monitoring, post-hospital and rehabilitation follow-up, medical appointment preparation and accompaniment, care coordination, and authorized communication with family members, partners, or chosen support persons.
What makes Island City Home Care different is continuity. Clients work directly with one consistent registered nurse—not a rotating group of caregivers. I take the time to understand each client’s health concerns, preferences, home situation, and support network. My role is to provide nursing oversight, clear communication, and dependable follow-through while complementing the work of physicians, attorneys, financial advisors, caregivers, and family.
Island City Home Care provides private-pay registered nursing services, nurse-led care management, and scheduled RN home visits.
Following an RN assessment, Island City Home Care may provide written nursing recommendations, safety guidance, and care priorities for the client and family to share with separately hired caregivers or caregiving agencies. With the client’s authorization, the RN may communicate observed concerns and recommendations to those caregivers.
Island City Home Care does not currently provide aide, CNA, HHA, homemaker, companion, or caregiver staffing. Families who need daily hands-on caregiver support may arrange those services separately.
Island City Home Care does not employ, refer, assign, schedule, pay, train, supervise, direct, or manage independently hired caregivers and does not assume responsibility for the services they provide. RN care management may continue separately while the family arranges those services through their own chosen provider or caregiver.
